What we’re about - What the future holds!

LUTV started life in 2021 as a partnership between the Rotary Club of Hebden Bridge, Hebden Royd Business Forum and Hebden Royd Town Council plus others, to help both the community and businesses alike in HX7.

Since then it has staged a series of free community events across HX7, from entertainment road shows to ice skating and has been the main supporter to HRTC for entertainment for their Christmas Light switch-on’s in Mytholmroyd & Hebden Bridge. This has included a 50 Stall Christmas Market, Santa’s Grotto and both local and international stage acts.

For the 2026 Christmas Light switch-on’s, Hebden Royd Town Council have decided to re-distribute it’s funding and stage small community focused events instead of the usual large scale events of a 50 Stall Christmas Market in Mytholmroyd and international acts both in Mytholmroyd & Hebden Bridge.

LUTV is therefore taking a break this year and we’d like to thank all those people who have been involved in making it the outstanding success it undoubtedly has been and all those people who have turned out to support and enjoy what we’ve been able to provide - despite the weather!

It’s been a privilege and a pleasure!

The Future!

LUTV will be working closely with the Rotary Club of Hebden Bridge in 2027 to bring you some new and hopefully exciting events!
